In the closing phase of its Action Plan 2025-2027 “Leaving no one behind”, the European Psychiatric Association is pleased to announce its Policy Event in Brussels from 26-28 January 2027.

Agenda outline:
- 26 January – Council of NPAs meeting & dinner
17:00 CET onwards, University Foundation
- 27 January – European Mental Health Innovation Summit meeting & dinner
Full day, Renaissance Hotel
- 28 January – European Mental Health Innovation Policy Exchange (to be confirmed) meeting
09:00-12:00 CET, European Parliament
The EPA will cover accommodation and provide a travel allowance for EPA Board Members and NPA Presidents. Practical details will be shared in due course. The Summit will be a public event. Exact timings and session details will follow as well as a registration link (required for all events).
Europe produces internationally leading neuroscience and psychiatric research, but its mental health outcomes, access, and innovation uptake lag behind. Across a full day of sessions, the European Mental Health Innovation Summit & Policy Exchange will trace that translational gap and its solutions.
As the European Parliament develops its twin initiatives on mental health and neurological health, the EPA will bring together representatives from the psychiatric and allied professions, patient associations, industry voices, and key policymakers to share their perspectives and advocate for the change needed to achieve a meaningful European mental health strategy.
